This video is like no other training TOOL !!!

Coming Soon... A new real world training aid centered around improving the behavior and decision making skills of our nation's young drivers. The first episode in the series will focus on the high fatality rate of Teen Drivers and the top three (3) most common causes..

Students watching this video will be able to comprehend the consequences of unsafe behaviors and common novice driver mistakes. How? DriveCam’s on board camera program for young drivers captures the few seconds before and after a teen’s riskiest moments and potentially life-threatening behaviors behind the wheel - extreme braking, cornering, acceleration and collisions. This video will be a powerful tool for all users because the student observes teens in actual situations with real-life consequences and outcomes. It’s a fast-paced video-saturated-world these teens live in and educators must adapt to maintain their effectiveness. This program represents a significant breakthrough in harnessing the benefits of new technology for the benefit of young drivers. With National television broadcast and distributed as an ADTSEA’s training tool these videos will get in front of State Supervisors of Safety Education, University Professors, School Teachers, Commercial Driving School Teachers and families of teen drivers. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration recent study shows:

“ TEENS ... also need to hear messages about other behaviors that have been determined to be risky for this population, such as following too closely, excessive speed, and the consequences of common distractions ... Focus groups indicated that traffic safety messages for teens should employ powerful graphic images more than lengthy narrative to capture a teen’s attention... They are not hearing ANY messages about these behaviors.” - National Highway Traffic Safety Administration

Message from the Partnership

“The tragic dealths of our teenage, inexperienced drivers is an EPIDEMIC and needs to be addressed as strongly as Drinking and Driving! We need to focus on behavior change and improving decision making skills with young drivers.”

- Allen Robinson Ph.D. CEO ADTSEA

“We’ve analyzed more than 100,000 risky driving events from thousands of teens. We’ve extracted the most common risky behaviors that that lead to near-crash and actual crash events. And so far, not one crash has been an accident – every case we’ve observed was easily avoidable by one party or the other by adhering to key safe driving principles. The program is filled with video of real drivers in real situations with expert analysis and coaching tips too – we think every driver will learn important lessons from this video – lessons that will hone safe driving strategies and foster safe driving habits designed to reduce countless crashes.”

- Rusty Weiss DriveCam

"Motor Vehicle "accidents" are the leading cause of death for 15-24 year olds in the United States. Creative and effective education is vital if we are going to make inroads into changing this tragic fact."
